What is a Wiimote? (also known as a Wii Remote)
The remote control used with the Wii games console.  About 80 million have been sold worldwide.  It has a high-definition Infra-red detector which enables it to be used as an  interactive whiteboard. 

Does the Wiimote IWB have the same features as mainstream interactive whiteboards?
Yes.  It has all of the versatility, accuracy and functionality of those boards... everything you need as a teacher.

Does the WiiMote IWB work with  SmartBoard Notebook software?

Yes
Does the WiiMote IWB work with Promethean ActivStudio software?
Yes

What computers will the WiiMote IWB work with?
Any laptop or desktop running Windows XP or Vista

Does the WiiMote IWB  require a Data projector?
Yes.  As with all interactive whiteboards you need a data projector to project the computer's screen onto the whiteboard.

What software do I need?
The Bluetooth driver (which comes with the Bluetooth adapter) and the free whiteboard software.
